"Cracked" Shoot

I'm the 2nd AC (assistant camera) on a grad film called "Cracked." It is a 10 day shoot at various locations and last night we shot from 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM! Thankfully we wrapped 2 hours earlier than planned. But it is such a great team and it wasn't as hard to stay up that early as I thought it would be. Had a lot of laughs and enjoyed the environment. It's a really good story and I'm glad to be part of it. Here's a photo of me on set.

By the way, I would appreciate prayer this week as I have a mountain of editing to do. I need inspiration and an undisturbed atmosphere. And my sleep patter is really off. With the time change, attending a midnight chapel where we worshiped until 3 AM (amazing!), and being on set, I'm not tired at the right times.

Hall Event

Sammi, my RA, organized an event for our hall on Saturday. We had so much fun! A hand full of us went to a corn maze/hayride/farm place and had a blast. I even shot a corn cannon...kinda scary. We split up into teams to try to find all the stamps in the corn maze. My team got so lost! Afterwards we enjoyed dinner at Cracker Barrel (a super Southern version of IHOP). Such a great day with great ladies :)

Honoring the Life Group Guys

All the girl life group leaders decided to have an appreciation night for the guys. Our theme was Lost Boys from Peter Pan (my idea by the way). We made them dinner and then sent them on a scavenger hunt. We offered them 10 extra points if they jumped in the complex's pool and once the other team was down by 9 points at the end...well, you can guess. Three of them ended up jumping in. It was so funny! Then we challenged them to a fort building contest and they got so into it! A true bunch of lost boys. I laughed harder than I had in a while that night. Kinda hurt. It's wonderful to have such amazing men to serve with.

This is the invite I designed :)

The Lost Boy Fort! They got so into it.

Such a great group.
